ACQ Non-Compliance Will be Reported to FCC May 1
The Number Portability Administration Center (NPAC) administrator, iconectiv, has distributed past due notices to NPAC users that have not submitted their Annual Continue Qualification (ACQ) letters, which were due February 25 (see our January 14 e-Lert). As a reminder, the ACQ certification is required under the NPAC user agreement signed by service providers during the new NPAC onboarding.
Failure to comply with the ACQ requirement by May 1 could result in suspension or termination of NPAC services and your company’s non-compliance will be reported to the FCC.
All carriers that port telephone numbers in the NPAC must certify in writing that the information submitted in their initial NPAC user application (such as proof of operating authority, port regions, authorized contacts, project representative) remains true and accurate. If any of the information is no longer accurate, companies must submit updated information to the iconectiv account management team prior to submitting certification.
