JSI is seeking to hire a Sales Representative for its Greenbelt, Maryland, headquarters.  The Sales Representative will:

  • Prospect and qualify new sales leads
  • Be proficient and willing to make colds calls on phone and in person
  • Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects
  • Create, plan, and deliver presentations on company products
  • Track all sales activities in company CRM system and regularly update account information in the CRM
  • Communicate customer and prospect product pain points to appropriate departments
  • Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects
  • Be able to represent JSI at trade shows and seminars
  • Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers
  • Create monthly sales action plans in order to meet and/or exceed quotas
  • Service customers by selling products and services that meet the customers’ needs
  • Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 2-4 years of sales experience
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas
  • Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems
  • Travel up to 50%
