JSI has an opportunity for a Senior Staff Accountant to lead in all areas of accounting and financial analysis. As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will be critical to the continued growth of the accounting function and the organization overall. The Senior Staff Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations and the month-end close process, including generating financial statements. The position will also work closely with the CFO on variance analysis, ad hoc analysis, and data analytics.

BA/BS in Accounting required
CPA or CMA preferred


  • Manage full-cycle accounting functions for the company
  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts
  • Manage month-, quarter-, and year-end closing activities
  • Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital monthly intercompany reconciliations
  • Prepare balance sheet, cash flow, profit and loss statement
  • Assist with employee expense report audits and analysis for cost saving
  • Backup for bi-weekly payroll and performing vendor and bank reconciliations
  • Process vendor invoices for accounts payable, expense report processing, and employee reimbursements
  • Mentor junior accountants


  • Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently as well as within a team environment
  • Must be comfortable and productive in an high-volume evolving business that rewards innovation
  • Attention to detail is critical
  • Experienced in payroll processing (ADP is preferred)
