Our recent webinar looked at potential retrans changes, plus new public file & EAS rules

Although this is an election year, we do not foresee 2016 being a lame duck year for video. Major advocacy efforts are underway to give video providers much needed leverage in retransmission negotiations. There also will be new requirements to post public file documents online, proposed changes to EAS requirements, and consideration of CPNI rules for broadband providers, as well as new challenges and opportunities such as Over-the-Top (OTT) services. Are you prepared to tackle these and more this year?

JSI’s recent Video Compliance Series webinar looked at these trends, technologies and policy concerns. We were joined by two key industry leaders – WTA’s Patricia Cave and NTCA’s Jill Canfield. This was an important discussion of what 2016 may have in store for video providers.

A recording of the webinar is available for $249. This was part of JSI’s Video Webinar Series, and clients who subscribe to JSI’s Video Compliance Service will receive a $70 discount. If you are interesting in purchasing the recording, please contact Brenda Cordwell at 301-459-7590.

Don’t be Caught Off Guard! The FCC plans to approve online public file rules and to strengthen its EAS requirements during its January 2016 open meeting.
