Barbara Greger brings extensive telecommunications, regulatory, and compliance experience to her role as Vice President / General Manager, Central Region at JSI. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with broadband providers to navigate complex requirements, manage change, and keep important initiatives moving forward.
At JSI, Barbara combines her regulatory expertise with a strong understanding of the day-to-day realities facing providers. Her approach starts with listening, understanding each organization’s priorities, and bringing the right people and resources together to help solve challenges. As leader of JSI’s Central Region, she is focused on strengthening client relationships and making sure providers have a trusted partner as they plan, build, operate, and grow their networks.
Our clients are doing important work in the communities they serve, and our role is to make that work a little easier. I believe in listening first, understanding what each organization needs, and bringing together the right expertise to help them move forward with confidence.
Professional Experience and Accomplishments
Barbara has built her career helping telecommunications and broadband providers navigate an increasingly complex regulatory environment. At JSI, she has held leadership positions across regulatory affairs and post-award grant compliance, working with clients on federal and state requirements, reporting obligations, funding compliance, and the policies and processes needed to support successful broadband projects.
Her experience includes helping providers manage requirements associated with federally funded infrastructure projects, including Build America, Buy America provisions and other post-award obligations. She has also worked closely with clients and regulatory agencies to help organizations establish practical compliance processes while keeping their broader operational and community goals in focus.
Before becoming Vice President / General Manager of JSI’s Central Region, Barbara served as Regional Vice President of Regulatory and Post-Award Compliance. Her experience working directly with providers across regulatory, compliance, and funding matters gives her a broad perspective on the challenges clients face and the importance of coordinating expertise across every stage of the broadband journey.
Barbara is also an active industry participant and regularly shares her experience with broadband organizations and associations on regulatory and grant compliance topics. Her leadership is grounded in strong client relationships, collaboration, and a commitment to helping providers successfully serve their communities.
