June 8, 2022, Greenbelt, MD: JSI, the market leader in rural broadband regulatory and engineering services, has appointed Steve Kidd and Dennis Wisdom to its board of directors.
Steve Kidd served as the President of Mid-State Consultants, LLC, for 14 years until his retirement in January 2022. Steve joined Mid-State Consultants 43 years ago, and during his tenure as president, he oversaw the company’s successful nationwide expansion. Notably, through Steve’s expert guidance and leadership, the Mid-State Consultants team has become one of the undisputed leaders in rural outside plant engineering in the United States.
Dennis Wisdom served as the President of N-com, LLC, for 17 years before transitioning into a new role as JSI’s Innovation Leader for Broadband Services in January 2022. Dennis was the innovation engine behind many of N-com’s market-leading IP network services products. Before joining N-com, Dennis worked at CHR Solutions as well as at Hicks & Ragland Engineering. Prior to that, he was the head of technology for a major state university as well as a large, multi-state supermarket chain. Dennis’s current interests include assisting broadband providers with the provision of cost-effective, secure services to their subscribers.
JSI Co-Chairmen Leo Staurulakis and Manny Staurulakis jointly commented, “Our board is delighted to welcome Steve and Dennis. Given their depth of experience in broadband engineering, their expertise will be a valuable complement to our board, especially as we continue to expand our portfolio of engineering and network managed services to enable our customers to grow their broadband offerings.”
JSI CEO Tasos Tsolakis added, “In addition to our regulatory and compliance services, as JSI provides more and more broadband engineering and network services to our rural customers, Steve’s and Dennis’s broad engineering and technology experience will be of tremendous value to our team and our clients.
