JSI Welcomes Dan Carter as New Vice President of Consulting

May 30, 2024 – Greenbelt, MD: JSI is happy to announce that Dan Carter joins the company as Vice President of Consulting. Dan will provide expert thought leadership to JSI’s clients, leading strategic business planning, feasibility studies, and operational consulting initiatives.

Prior to joining JSI, Dan spent his career as a Senior Executive and Professional Engineer. He led the
delivery of consulting services for business planning and execution, operational management, product development and launch, and engineering management for telecommunications and utilities companies. Dan joined JSI most recently from Vantage Point and, prior to that, led the Corporate Development & Strategy, Consulting, and Business Development & Sales functions at Finley Engineering, where he spearheaded strategic planning efforts, grant/funding pursuits, gap analyses, and operational improvements for clients. During his tenure at several telecommunications companies, Dan has successfully led teams to support both fiber and wireless network design and broadband network construction. Leading with strategic insight and a deep understanding of the industry, Dan has assisted clients in securing over $1 billion in capital and navigated startups to become multimillion-dollar enterprises. He brings years of experience in the telecom industry as well as a focused skillset in telecommunications business operations.
