We greatly appreciate your input about the FCC’s new proposed rules for NG911. Please complete the brief questionnaire below to arm us with the data that JSI needs to advocate for rural service providers.

2a. If yes, where are your meet points for the ESINet?
2b. If yes, are you incurring additional operational costs that are not reimbursable from the state or 911 authority?

2c. If no, are you currently implementing or plan to implement NG911 capabilities within the next a year?

3. Are you aware of any state or local cost recovery mechanisms that might be available for this transition?
3a. If yes, what percentage of your additional costs will they cover?
4. Would you increase the monthly rates on your wireline services for customers to cover these costs?
5. Is six months an adequate amount of time for delivery of IP-based services for wireline, CMRS, and interconnected VoIP providers?
