JSI Welcomes Christopher Canter as Its New Senior Contracts Counsel

April 27, 2023 – Greenbelt, MD: JSI is pleased to announce that Christopher (Chris) Canter recently joined the company as its new Senior Commercial Contracts Counsel.

In his new role, Chris will be principally responsible for leading all commercial contract review and negotiation processes – including those concerning master service agreements (MSAs), service-level agreements (SLAs), data privacy agreements, and software licensing agreements, among others – for all 16 of JSI’s offices across the continental United States, Alaska, and Hawaii.

Prior to joining JSI, Chris worked in private practice for nearly two decades, during which time he provided strategic advice and counseling to a broad range of communications and technology companies, both in the United States and abroad, on regulatory and tax compliance matters.

Chris’s recent professional experience includes serving as Senior Legal Counsel at Enablon, a division of global information services company Wolters Kluwer NV (Wolters Kluwer) and the world’s leading provider of sustainability, operational, and environmental, health, and safety (EHS) risk-management software. Notably, during his tenure at Enablon, Chris negotiated international commercial contracts related to the sale of the company’s risk-management system.

Prior to that, Chris worked for several years as Senior Legal Counsel to Expereo, a Dutch company and the world’s largest provider of managed internet network services and cloud-connectivity optimization solutions for global enterprises. At Expereo, Chris principally oversaw the negotiation of enterprise-level sales across North and South America.
