Reminder: ACP First Wind-Down Notice Must Be Sent by Tomorrow, Jan. 25

ACP providers must send the first written wind-down notice to ACP customers by tomorrow, Thursday, January 25, 2024, as mentioned in our recent e-Lert. This notice is an early alert to ACP customers about the potential end of the program and how it might affect their broadband service and bills.

This is part of a three-stage written notice process, and providers have flexibility in the format (email, text, paper mail, or along with the customer’s bill). Providers are encouraged to send the notice in the same way they usually communicate with the customer.
